I Dream For You

Founded by Rob Tilbury and Tess Corvaia, who are also the founders of Lack of Color, an Australian label that specializes in hats, I Dream For You is a relatively new brand aiming to offer timeless and iconic pieces straight out of the 70s up to the early 2000s.

“It’s like an aesthetic or a ‘feel’.. it’s like you can’t put it into words but it exists. A feel you get from an image or a film.. a time and a place. We want you to feel this through our clothes and through our imagery,” said Tilbury and Corvaia.

Perfect for an unforgettable summer, I Dream For You’s latest release is a small selection of pieces that are made of eco-friendly materials.

Derived from sustainably sourced raw wood, I Dream For You’s Tencel shirt in a pastel yellow is said to be softer than silk and breezier than linen. A short-sleeve, button-up silk shirt in black with a chest pocket is made from Bluesign certified eco silk, allowing for a relaxed and airy fit. Another Bluesign certified eco silk piece is a puff sleeve dress, described as being “Perfectly feminine and sweet at the same time.”

Featuring a distinct knit ribbed fabric in black, you can’t go wrong with a t-shirt made of organic cotton, Tencel and recycled polyester. If your feeling bold and want to have some fun, consider a knit ribbed crop top in black made from organic cotton. Match the knit ribbed t-shirt with a pair of textured pants in black. Mainly made of organic cotton, I Dream For You says they are the “comfiest pants you’ll probably ever wear.” Perhaps pants aren’t your thing. If that’s the case, there is a flip skirt is made of organic cotton.

The final piece of the selection is a worker jacket. Made of 100% Tencel Lyocell, the jacket is durable and can be rocked with the buttons undone for the coolest look.

“We searched for years and scratched around the globe to find the right people to work with on this project. It’s been hard because we want to offer really high quality, long lasting items that are sustainably made but also keep the price point to where almost anyone can still buy it,” explains Tilbury and Corvaia. “That’s a hard equation to navigate these days.. but we feel we have done it.. And this is only the beginning of this story. Be sure to ride with us… I promise you’ll f$#k with it.”
