Transparent and ethical clothing retailer Everlane has launched a new collection made from recycled nylon for a 50% reduced carbon footprint when compared to 100% Grade-A cashmere.

Described by Everlane as being just as comfortable as cashmere, the ReCashmere collection is composed of crews, v-necks, button mocknecks and cardigans.

In partnership with a mill in Prato, Italy, the recycled yarn is sourced from well-worn cashmere sweaters. The recycled yarn is mixed with extra-fine merino wool for a durable and soft finish.
