For Spring/Summer 2021, minimalist label COS has teamed up with sustainable eyewear brand Yuma Labs on a circular range of sunglasses. With the environment being a top priority for both labels, this fitting collaboration sees the duo showcasing their design ethos on a sunglasses lineup made from recycled materials.

The COS x Yuma Labs sunglasses collaboration marks COS’s first foray into sunglasses and comprises five unisex styles and modern frames.

For the more minimalist fashion lovers out there, the square and round-shaped sunglasses feature a more classic design, while the hexagonal option provides a more edgy appeal. Additionally, the angular feline-inspired cat-eye sunglasses are perfect for those looking for a romantic silhouette.

Each pair of COS x Yuma Labs sunglasses arrives with polarised lenses, a cork case for storage, and a cleaning cloth. The sunglasses are mindfully designed to ensure each piece can take the wearer beyond the season and can be recycled when they reach their end. The cherry on top of the sustainability cake is each pair can easily be sent back to Yuma Labs once the wearer is ready to part with them. The Antwerp-based label will then recycle them into a new pair of sunglasses in their continuous push for creating a more circular economy.
