Who doesn’t love a pair of ethical, vegan shoes? That is exactly what British footwear brand Air & Grace is delivering with the launch of its first-ever vegan collection.

“Our first vegan range is not only entirely made from materials which have no animal derivatives, but which are also responsibly sourced. Our design team have carefully selected materials that are breathable, durable and obviously look great,” reads the brand’s website.

Giving the people what they want, Air & Grace has reinvented some of their best selling styles, allowing consumers the opportunity to rock a new, sustainable version of their favourite sneaker.

“We designed the new Vegan Collection in response to popular customer demand for animal-free products,” explains Claire Burrows, founder of Air & Grace. “With veganism moving heavily into the mainstream, it felt only natural and in keeping with the Air and Grace ethos to provide not only vegans, but all women, with an offering that met consumer needs and combined a unique blend of considered comfort, quality and style – and true to Air and Grace, provided women with shoes that look great, feel great, and stand the test of time.”

Animal-free, eco-friendly details include vegan suede, anti-bacterial vegan lining, and 25% natural rubber. Fans of the women’s footwear brand will also be pleased to know that like all Air & Grace trainers, each pair of vegan sneakers uses their patented Tender Loving Air technology to make you feel like you’re walking on air. The brand’s Tender Loving Air technology was achieved in the new collection through vegan memory and recovery foams and adhesives.

In addition to environmental sustainability, the collection is also ethically responsible, with each pair being manufactured in a family-run factory based in Portugal or Spain.

The Air & Grace Vegan Collection consists of seven styles, all of which are trainers except for two women’s espadrilles styles. In terms of the sneakers, there are five different designs in Air & Grace’s beloved “Cru” and “Alto” styles. Every single style comes in a range of bold and trendy hues, such as pink leopard print, silver marble effect, and rainbow metallic. There are also two leopard print high top versions, and one more neutral pair of navy and white sneakers.
