Luxury French fashion house Chloé has teamed up with UNICEF for their newest capsule collection, dubbed Girls Forward, that features a t-shirt, scarf, bracelet, necklace, a pouch, and pins.

This is the second time that the French brand has joined forces with UNICEF (they have been in a global partnership with the organization since 2019, and have plans to extend the partnership until 2023).

100% of the proceeds from this collection will be donated to UNICEF to help women earn a secondary education and to support gender equality programs. Chloé claims that with their support, UNICEF will be able to reach 6.5 million teenage girls and young women all over the world, helping them learn the skills required to advance in the workplace. The brand further asserts that the importance of secondary education for women is often the difference of going on to earn twice as much in the workplace as a fellow woman without secondary education.

Chloé also collaborated with four fair trade social enterprises that support women in order to conceive both ethically produced and environmentally friendly products for the line.

For example, the Chloé For UNICEF Bracelet and Pins were made out of recycled brass and crafted in partnership with SeeMe, a fair trade organization in which all pieces are handmade by women survivors of violence.

Meanwhile the Chloé For UNICEF Graphic T-shirt was made from 100% organic cotton jersey and created in collaboration with Creative Handicrafts, another fair trade certified organization whose sole mission is to empower disadvantaged women.

Designed by Natacha Ramsay-Levi, Chloé’s past creative director, the limited edition line features heart-shaped motifs, shades of black, white, pink, and blue, and an overarching logo of two hands joined together, which is intended to be a symbol of solidarity and sisterhood.

Chloé’s Girls Forward capsule collection is available now on the brand’s website. Items range from $60 for the pins to $510 USD for the tri-fold wallet.
