Fashion brand Aritzia’s “Thanks To You Sale”, which offers 20 percent off products, as well as free shipping and free returns, aims to financially help Aritzia employees who have been affected by COVID-19.

The Thanks To You store-wide sale includes everything from dresses and jumpsuits to jackets and blouses. All proceeds from the sale will go towards the Aritzia Community Relief Fund to be distributed to employees. To date, over $5,500,000 has been raised for the relief fund.

“Without the luxury of time to prepare, we’ve been thrown into a world crisis. We feel a tremendous amount of empathy for those affected by COVID-19, and like all of you, we’re extremely grateful for our fearless frontline workers,” said Aritzia.

Like many retail businesses, all Aritzia locations have been temporarily closed in the wake of COVID-19. The Canadian clothing company says that it was the best decision for its people, clients, partners, and the community-at-large. In total, Aritzia has 95 stores worldwide.

Aritzia also notes the fact that no employees have been laid off or furloughed. “And we’ll do absolutely everything in our power to keep it that way,” promised Aritzia. “All of our people are essential to the Aritzia team and we know we wouldn’t be us without them.”

“While we recognize that this is an unsettling time for all, we hope our efforts can provide you with a little sense of normalcy and comfort,” added Aritzia. “You are a vital part of our community, now and forever. We look forward to the day we can open our boutiques to you once again. Until then, we’ll be right here ― online and at your service.”
