A bag collection made from a synthetic material called TYVEK has been created by COUPLE D’IDÉES founders Diane Parenteau and Arto Dokouzian.

Conventionally used as house wrap, TYVEK features lightweight, durable, water resistant, non-toxic and acid-free properties.

Described as having a similar texture and appearance to paper, the designers say that TYVEK is an ideal material for the bag collection.

“Rain or shine, throughout the year, our bag is the faithful companion,” said the designers. “For us, urban nomads, it has to be more than just utilitarian, it has to fit our lifestyle. It is our home on the go, our luggage, our image.”
