As part of their commitment towards achieving zero carbon and zero waste, sporting giant Nike has released a new sneaker called Nike Air Max Terrascape Plus that is made from recycled materials.
The Move to Zero initiative is an effort by the global company to move towards zero carbon and zero waste by changing all aspects of its supply chain, including material sourcing, processing, and manufacturing.
Having already debuted some of the footwear world’s most boundary-pushing sneakers and silhouettes, such as the highly-coveted “Space Hippie” collection, the Beaverton-mainstay is now readying a women’s exclusive Air Force 1 made entirely from sustainable and recycled materials.
As Nike continues to push towards more eco-friendly means, the footwear giant has introduced an all-new sustainable Air Force 1 Crater for the ladies dressed in an ethereal “Summit White” colourway.
In the past 20 years, Nike has been attempting to amend its bad reputation through a series of sustainability initiatives. These initiatives are said to have transformed the company into one of the leading brands for sustainable sportswear.
