English fashion designer Stella McCartney has tapped the creative talents of Japanese artist Yoshitomo Nara to release the second iteration of their collaborative unisex capsule.
First partnering back in SS21, which was also Nara’s first-ever fashion collaboration, the two are said to be united by shared activist values, aesthetics, and love for animals.
“Blending conscious fashion and art, the collaboration expresses a free-spirited punk attitude – inspiring a new generation to ‘CHANGE THE HISTORY’,” says McCartney. “Nara’s work celebrates introspection, imagination and individuality, with our capsule uniting his vision with Stella’s values. Iconic illustrations and social slogans are realised across a light-hearted edit of rare, collectible ready-to-wear pieces and vegan accessories elevated with richer textiles and techniques.”
