Fashion brand 3.1 Phillip Lim has just released an all-new collection called LIVE FREE.
Meant to be seen as a callback to the essential components of fashion, each piece in the collection is designed to be worn more, washed less, and ultimately, lived in.
At its core, LIVE FREE is a collection of basics. But these aren’t just any basics. The entire line utilizes FUZE, a sustainably-made, chemical-free compound that can permanently adhere to a variety of surfaces.
Fabrics treated with FUZE are able to target any odour-causing bacteria (including infectious-disease-carrying bacteria) and fungus that comes into contact and works to eliminate it, thereby eradicating germs.
In addition, FUZE is extremely durable and long-lasting and has been proven to maintain its properties for over 100 washes.
LIVE FREE is made up of both men’s and women’s items, and each features a mix of loungewear, athleisure styles, and everyday basics that can be paired or layered with almost any outfit.
Currently, the women’s line comprises boxy tees, crop tanks, scoop neck dresses, joggers, boyfriend shirts, track pants, and windbreakers, most of which are available in a neutral palette of black, white, beige, and blush pink. In contrast, the menswear features a similar collection of basic tees, track pants, joggers, crewneck sweatshirts, parkas, windbreakers, and track pants in hues like black, white, navy, and forest green. Unisex face masks and a deconstructed duffel bag are also available.
