Handmade by architect and designer Malaika Carr, the SCARPA jewellery collection takes inspiration from the works of architect Carlo Scarpa.

Comprised of earrings, necklaces, bracelets and rings, the luxury range collection is minimalist, chic and geometric.

“Being an architect has given me a clear set of parameters to work within,” said Carr. “I concentrate on function, scale and precision. When you design a building, you think of the end user and how you can make them fall in love with the spaces. The same thread of thought translates to when I think of jewellery. However, I often imagine that the end user is me.”

Carr is described as being passionate about “beautifully crafted design in all its forms, from the structure of large cityscapes to the intricacies of fine jewellery pieces”.

“Using such solid materials was very satisfying; it gives the pieces a nice weight,” noted Carr. “The result is versatile and timeless.”
