Sustainable fashion brand PANGAIA has just released a new collection of various puffer jackets that are filled with FLWRDWN, a biodegradable material made of biopolymer and natural wildflowers.

Infused with aerogel for added performance and durability, FLWRDWN is a hypoallergenic and cruelty-free alternative to goose and duck down that has taken PANGAIA 10 years to develop. FLWRDWN jackets are said to be warm enough to be worn in temperatures of -20°C.

Both the outer shell and lining of the FLWRDWN jackets are 100% recycled nylon. In addition, all trims, labels and threads are either recycled or responsibly sourced.

To complement the jackets, the new collection includes hats, scarves, and slippers that are also filled with FLWRDWN.

The packaging that PANGAIA ships its products in is partially bio-based and can be composted in 24 weeks.
