LA-based eco-friendly label OOKIOH has collaborated with independent boutique Lisa Says Gah for a range of essential swimwear pieces.
Comprising an underwire bikini top, a high-waisted bikini brief, and a one-piece square-neck maillot each dressed in various unique patterns, the print-heavy collaboration includes “Moo,” an olive green and white cow print design; “Banana,” an oversized red and pink paisley motif; and finally “Farmers’s Market” which features a variety of summer fruits and veggies showcased on a black background.
With sustainable practices being important to both Lisa Says Gah and OOKIOH, each bathing suit is crafted from 100% regenerated materials derived from recycled fishing nets and other pre-consumer waste that would otherwise end up in landfills or the ocean.
On the collaboration, Lisa Says Gah founder Lisa Bühler shared in a press release, “One of our most requested items this year has been swimwear and we’re excited to share that with our community through our partnership with OOKIOH. The LSG community is obsessed with in-house prints, and we felt our summer iterations were the perfect match for OOKIOH.”
Keeping in line with its sustainable mission, the Lisa Says Gah x OOKIOH swimwear capsule collection arrives in 100% compostable sustainable packaging, including tissue paper, stickers, and cards that are acid-free, FSC-certified, and use soy-based ink.
