The delicate spring-time frocks and ethereal dresses are reminiscent of clouds, each having been meticulously crafted with intricate precision and couture-like signature details that Bahnsen has become known for. Bahnsen additionally adds her playful touch to the romantic and hyper-feminine gowns with large bows, puff sleeves, and quirky patterns.

First up in the airy silhouettes is a puff-sleeve dress that incorporates a structured bodice into the design. Made from surplus dunes matelassé, this garment features an organic ripple-like effect throughout along with a slightly shimmery finish in optical white.

The second piece in “Encore 06” is a thin-strapped gown that has been overlaid with a grid pattern fabric made from ribbons. Elevating the overall look are flower decals spotted about. Finally, the collection is rounded out with a delicate, sheer organza collared dress accented with large bows at the back and daisy applique clusters embroidered throughout.

All three dresses from Cecilie Bahnsen’s “Encore 06” capsule are available via the designer’s website. To keep the label’s carbon footprint to a minimum, each piece is available in limited quantities and is made to order.
