Are you searching for sustainable and clean beauty products that are linked to wellbeing? Look no further. Say hello to selfmade, a ritual-based beauty brand.

Founded by Stephanie Lee, a

selfmade

“While working at the epicenter of the beauty world and reckoning with a mental health crisis, I questioned the current societal standards that make it nearly impossible for us to recognize and appreciate our inherent human value,” says Lee. “This was an uncomfortable discovery, and it instilled a deep desire for change which led me to seek out vulnerable conversations about our personal relationships to mental health and self-worth.”

“I gathered each one of those stories, thoughts, and feelings and turned them into this company. My team and I believe that belonging is a necessary part of life, and despite our individual uniqueness, it’s our collective lived experience of learning to love ourselves that connects us.”

Free from formaldehydes, microplastics, parabens, phthalates, silicones, sulfates, and any other nasty substances, selfmade’s vegan and cruelty-free product lineup include just two serums and an exfoliator, which come in recyclable packaging.

Each product is offered alongside online resources and a proprietary wellbeing app, which selfmade says allows for “awareness and evolution alongside a vibrant, connected, and secure community.”

“We strive to infuse daily moments with conscious agency, creating an environment where curiosity and conversation can thrive,” reads selfmade’s website. “Through the formation of intentional habits, our product routine nurtures not only the physical self but also inspires confidence and worthiness.”
