Karl Lagerfeld has teamed up with Nigerian fashion designer Kenneth Ize on a new capsule collection.

Curated by Karl Lagerfeld style advisor Carine Roitfeld, the Karl Lagerfeld x Kenneth Ize capsule is made up of a wide range of eye-grabbing gender-neutral styles and accessories.

Ize worked alongside Karl Lagerfeld design director Hun Kim to create the limited-edition collection that combines Nigerian and European styles.

Based in Lagos, Ize is known for mixing handmade West African aesthetics with contemporary styles, which is exactly what he did in this capsule collection. He flawlessly blended black and white geometric patterns with colourful stripes to create a stunning collection of pieces, ranging from tailored separates to knitwear.

Further, there is a sustainable component to the capsule. All leather in the collection complies with the strict standards set by the Leather Working Group, and materials in the capsule include hemp, a Merino wool-cotton blend, and silk.
