Transparent and ethical fashion company Everlane has released yet another sustainable collection – and this time it’s all about denim.
Featuring a high-waisted jean short, high-waisted baggy jeans, and relaxed jean jacket, the new three-piece Cleanest Denim line was brought to life in partnership with Italian mill Candiani Denim.
Together, Roica V550 stretch yarn and organic cotton were spun into Clean Denim fabric. Roica V550 yarn is the world’s first-ever stretch yarn that isn’t made with harmful chemicals. Thus, through this partnership, Everlane produced a denim collection that doesn’t compromise on either high-performance stretch or sustainability.
Roica V550 yarn is also Cradle-to-Cradle Gold certified, which means that it meets the minimum threshold allowing it to break down into the natural environment without releasing harmful chemicals.
Cleanest Denim is available now on Everlane’s website, with prices ranging from $69 USD for the jean shorts to $123 USD for the jean jacket or baggy jeans.
