Japan-based company Kunjudo has created a leaf-shaped paper incense called HA KO.

Founded in 1893, Kunjudo employs fragrant masters and artisans to produce HA KO on Awaji Island.

“Awaji Island’s year-long-mild-climate, surrounded by sea and mountains, contributes to the greatest incense,” said Kunjudo. “Production of the oldest recorded about incense is about the chronicles of Japan. The history of fragrance breathes through the island.”

In total, there are eight scents such as citrus, agarwood and cinnamon that are available.
