Electric Scooter with 100 km Range Launched by unu

Berlin-based mobility company unu has launched the second generation of unu Scooter.

Redesigned and redeveloped in cooperation with BOSCH and LG, unu Scooter with a max speed of 45 km/h (28 mph) is powered by a removable 1.7 kWh battery capable of a range of 50 km (31 mi).  Two batteries can be fitted for a max range of 100 km (62 mi).

The battery life ranges from seven to 10 years. To charge the batteries, a regular power outlet is used. A full charge takes roughly seven hours.

With the motor of unu Scooter integrated into the rear wheel, this allows for storage space underneath the seat to fit “two helmets and more”.

unu Scooter also features smart technology such as navigation and key sharing. With the unu app, users will be able to set destinations and receive directions via a display, share the digital key of unu scooter with friends and family, check the battery life, and track the location of unu Scooter.
