Reserved, a Polish fashion brand, has launched its first-ever eco-friendly collection. Dubbed “Eco Aware,” the Spring/Summer 2020 collection puts sustainability at the fore with the use of fabrics made out of natural and recycled fibres.
The materials used include the likes of Lenzing EcoVero (eucalyptus-derived viscose) and Eastman Naia (made from sustainably-sourced wood pulp), as well as an eco-friendly fabric called Tencel Lyocell (made from cellulose fibre), and polyester produced with recycled water bottles.
The women’s collection is the epitome of spring, featuring pastel hues, athleisure accents, floral prints, and tailored silhouettes. The belted white denim jumpsuit and the lilac rib-knit jersey top are easily the loveliest pieces among the collection, which can easily be dressed up or down. Meanwhile, the men’s collection is equally stylish, boasting mandarin collared shirts, retro denim jackets, organic cotton graphic tees, and tailored chinos.
Beyond the innovative, certified environmentally-friendly fabrics used in the Eco Aware collection, Reserved has taken its sustainability mission a step further by establishing its own social responsibility department and overhauling its product packaging system in order to recycle and reuse every single cardboard box used for online store orders.
