In the last few years, the legalization of cannabis in countries such as Canada has opened up the doors for new products and innovations.
Created by dosist, a Los Angeles-based company dedicated to “harnessing the healing power of cannabis and providing natural plant-based therapies”, dose dial is a compact tablet dispenser that delivers a precise 3.7 mg dose.
Made from distilled cannabis oil and terpenes derived from all-natural plant material, the dissolvable tablets are available in the formulas of bliss, sleep, calm, relief, arouse and passion.
Taking safety into consideration, dose dial is certified child-resistant.
With the casing, shell and electrical components made of recyclable materials, dosist incentivizes customers to return the dose dial for recycling by offering a rebate.
“We were intentional in every detail, with a design objective to challenge and redefine the edible category, a historically recreational and intoxication-focused consumption space,” dosist chief marketing officer Anne-Marie Dacyshyn told Dezeen.
“It’s key we address some of the entrenched stereotypes that still exist in the space,” added Dacyshyn. “Design is a crucial element to change the narrative and bring people into this category just like they do with their current lifestyle accessories.”
