In response to growing consumer demand for diverse and inclusive menu choices, Burger King UK has reintroduced its beloved vegetarian offering, the Ultimate Bean Burger. This move signals a significant step toward catering to the dietary preferences of vegetarians and vegans, further expanding the landscape of plant-based options in the fast-food industry.

Originally propelled by an impassioned petition spearheaded by Sarah Chevalier in July 2021, the call for the return of Burger King’s Veggie Bean Burger resonated deeply within communities advocating for truly vegetable-based alternatives. This prompted Burger King to unveil the Ultimate Bean Burger, a revamped rendition designed to please discerning palates and align with changing dietary preferences.

The Ultimate Bean Burger boasts a black bean patty infused with an array of real vegetables, including sweet red pepper, green chili, and a tantalizingly crunchy tortilla crumb. Adorned with optional American cheese, mayo, crispy fried onions, fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and a dash of ketchup, all encased within a soft brioche-style bun, this creation promises a symphony of flavours and textures for plant-based enthusiasts.

Crucially, Burger King has gone a step further to accommodate both vegetarians and vegans, emphasizing that the burger without the optional dairy cheese is approved by the Vegan Society.

For those wanting to take a bite of the Ultimate Bean Burger, it’s being rolled out as a limited release available only in select outlets across the United Kingdom.
