British fashion house Alexander McQueen has partnered with resale platform Vestiaire Collective, in an effort to move towards more circular practices.

The collaboration makes Alexander McQueen the first official brand to join Vestiaire Collective’s new “Brand Approved” program. Through this program, any piece that a customer wishes to sell back will be assessed and authenticated in-house by Alexander McQueen. If accepted, it will be assigned a buy-back price and the customer receives store credit.

According to Vestiaire Collective, Alexander McQueen has already begun inviting long-standing customers to sell back pre-loved pieces that they no longer wear but that are still in good condition.

So far, there are 31 Brand Approved Alexander McQueen clothing items and accessories available on Vestiaire Collective’s website. The pre-loved pieces range from a leather crossbody bag and strappy black sandals to a wool maxi dress and strapless jumpsuit. Prices range from $100 to $1,200. All pieces are currently located in France but can be shipped worldwide.
