Designed by studio Halleroed with the concept and direction of Acne Studios’ brand and image director Johannes Svartholm, Acne Studios Maximiliansplatz in Munich echoes the contemporary lifestyles of the German city.

“I love how the design reacts to the city’s elevated mix between industry and individuality,” said Mikael Schiller, Chairman of Acne Studios.

Featuring Acne Studios’ signature design and aesthetic such as stainless steel walls and rails, concrete flooring, large mirrors and bespoke furniture created by Max Lamb, the 1937 sq ft (180 sqm) space is described by Acne Studios as being a mix of innovation with tradition.

With large windows that fill the space with natural light, Acne Studios says that the store itself is a window display. In addition to natural light, LED light fixtures designed by Benoit Lalloz illuminate the space and accentuate Acne Studios’ store concept.
