AfterShokz has unveiled a waterproof bone-conducting headphone called Xtrainerz at the 2019 Consumer Electronic Show.

Able to deliver sound vibrations through the cheekbones to the inner ears, the IP68 rated Xtrainerz can withstand mud, dirt, sweat, and submersion in both fresh and saline water up to a depth of six feet. Constructed with a flexible titanium shell, the headphone is reported to have withstood a 72-hour salt spray test without signs of corrosion.

“Swim, run, cycle and train harder with open-ear headphones that can withstand all elements,” said AfterShokz. “The freedom to move; no wires, no devices, no limits.”
