Said to be possibly the most sustainable ever made, Hunter in collaboration with Stella McCartney has created a 100% vegan boot.
Designed by McCartney, the boot was initially debuted at McCartney’s Winter 2019 runway in Paris, France. “The vegan natural rubber boot fuses Stella McCartney’s modernity as a designer,” said Hunter.
The boot is made from sustainably sourced natural rubber and fitted with a stretch insert made from a plant-based alternative to neoprene called Yulex, a material that generates 80% less carbon dioxide than neoprene. Made without petrochemicals, Yulex is also sustainably sourced from the same certified forest in Guatemala where the natural rubber is sourced.
