With the goal of enabling consumers to “trade plastic waste for a cleaner future”, Trades for Good is creating and packaging organic hand soap in 100% recyclable aluminum cans.

Made from sea kelp, coconut water, cedarwood, cardamon, sunflower oil and peppermint, the hand soap is “designed to be kind” for both skin and the environment.

“An organic castile soap free from artificial fragrances and preservatives, with an ingredient list that reads like a farm, not a factory,” said Trades for Good.

Stating how one in five plastic bottles from bathrooms are recycled, Trades for Good says that aluminum cans were utilized for its 70% recycling rate and 68% recycled content rate.

With Trades For Good’s simple reuse system, a reusable cap is fitted onto an aluminum can and once the soap is depleted, the cap is removed and placed onto a new can.

In total, there are three hand soap fragrances “inspired by the wild outposts of the world” that are available.
