Known for its food and drink offerings, beloved neighbourhood grocery store Trader Joe’s has created a vegan Cold Brew Coffee and Boba Coconut Non-Dairy Dessert.
Instead of using a dairy-based cream, the frozen dessert incorporates smooth, rich, and creamy coconut milk. But don’t be fooled. The ice cream barely tastes like coconut, instead, it gives off powerful flavours of cold brew coffee made from Thai-grown Arabica coffee beans.
Additionally in each pint, the dessert is packed full of chewy tapioca pearls, which is popularly found in specialty Taiwanese tea and coffee-based drinks.
The vegan Cold Brew Coffee and Boba Coconut Non-Dairy Dessert is available now at all Trader Joe’s locations for $4.29 USD/$5.40 CAD a pint.
