Spanish retailer Mango has released a new capsule collection in honour of International Women’s Day.

For the limited edition, three-piece collection, Mango teamed up with Ana Leovy, a Mexican visual artist who specializes in gouache and acrylics. Her pieces are vibrant, colourful and bring diversity to the fore, each telling a story through abstract forms and tones.

Leovy says that her work draws from fashion, dreams, culture, and everyday life. She also expresses the importance of women to her work and how the strength and sensibility that women possess inspires her. As a result, women are the subject of many of her works, including the three used in Mango’s collection.

Mango’s International Women’s Day collection consists of two t-shirts and one tote bag, each adorned with an illustration created by Ana Leovy. Further, the capsule collection is sustainable, having been made out of 100% organic cotton.

Lastly, all profits from the collection will be donated to the Vicente Ferrer Foundation, an organization that Mango has partnered with since 2005. The Vicente Ferrer Foundation is dedicated to promoting women’s empowerment and independence, as well as narrowing the gender educational and financial gap in rural communities in southern India.

The capsule collection is available now, online and in Mango stores globally. Get yours ahead of International Women’s Day, which is celebrated annually on March 8. Prices range from $39.99 for the t-shirts to $69.99 CAD for the tote bag.
