Hopefully, you brush your teeth a minimum of two times per day. Unfortunately, a conventional toothbrush is made from plastic and roughly 1 billion toothbrushes are thrown away annually in the United States alone, according to research by Foreo.

Aiming to offer a more sustainable alternative, South Korean brand HAYAN has created the No.001 Pistachio Green Toothbrush that is made out of corn-based plastic.

Not only are the No.001 Pistachio Green Toothbrushes biodegradable, but it is also flexible and resistant to mould.

Currently, the No.001 Pistachio Green Toothbrushes come in two versions: one for adults and another for children that features a shorter and curved grip for ease of use.

Customers can also return their worn-out toothbrushes directly to HAYAN so that they can be composted or recycled.
