When furniture brand Alias approached chief designer Oki Sato of nendo to design a new seating collection, Oki reflected on Alias’ specialty in aluminum furniture and decided to create a chair made of four aluminum “twigs” with a seat.
For added customization so that a wide range of seating experiences can be enjoyed, there are a total of five various upper portion units in the materials of wood, plastic and fabric.
By taking off the upper portions, the aluminum frames can be stacked for compact storage.
