Lesjour!

Actress Phoebe Tonkin has launched an all-new sustainable loungewear brand named Lesjour! that is sure to become your new quarantine uniform.

According to Tonkin, it was while being stuck at home in quarantine when she realized that there wasn’t any clothing that was comfortable enough to wear at home but formal enough to wear during video calls for business. This is how the idea for Lesjour! came to be.

Lesjour!’s inaugural collection is made up of four tops and two pants that take inspiration from the leisure suits of the ‘70s. Versatile and chic, Tonkin sought to recreate a look with a modern (and most importantly sustainable) twist.

The four tops available are a long-sleeved mock neck, a buttoned cardigan, an oversized tunic, and a more traditional pyjama top with buttons and a collar. When it comes to bottoms, there is a cropped pant and a wide-leg pant.

Each item is made out of 95% Lenzing EcoVero Viscose. This viscose is not only machine washable, but it’s soft as cashmere and sourced from 100% renewable resources. Specifically, the viscose is derived from wood pulp and every time a tree is cut to create this fabric, another is planted in its place.

In addition, all pieces are designed and manufactured locally in Los Angeles, California. Nothing is outsourced to any other country. From the design to the cutting of the fabric to the manufacturing, every single aspect of Lesjour! is local to downtown Los Angeles.

Lesjour! is currently available for pre-order on their website, with items shipping November 20, 2020.
