Surface Hub 2S Introduced by Microsoft

At an event in New York, Microsoft has introduced Surface Hub 2S that enables an unprecedented level of teamwork and collaboration.

“Surface Hub 2S gives teams the flexibility to come together wherever they work together best,” said Panos Panay, Chief Product Officer at Microsoft, “It takes something that has long been a fixture in the conference room – the shared screen – and transforms it into a mobile computer, built for teams. Surface Hub 2S offers the thinnest edge and smallest bezels in its class, bringing you closer to your content and your team and integrating seamlessly into any office environment.”

Surface Hub 2S harnesses Windows 10, Microsoft Teams, Office 365, Microsoft Whiteboard and the Intelligent Cloud. 

Designed to be sleek, thin, and versatile, the 50-inch 4K multi-touch display with anti-glare is 60% thinner and 40% lighter than its predecessor. Graphics performance has also been improved by 50%.

Featuring a 4K camera, full band 8-element MEMS microphone array and full range front facing 3-way stereo speakers, Surface Hub 2S is optimized for high quality video conferencing. 

In regards to mobility, a lithium-ion battery system and mobile stand can be utilized to integrate Surface Hub 2S into any space.
