For urban dwellers who seek to grow greens in an indoor setting, tech company LG has unveiled a new indoor gardening appliance called Column Garden.
Relatively compact and slim, the indoor gardening appliance is designed in a column-style, hence its name.
By replicating the temperature inside the insulated cabinet with the time of day, Column Garden is able to create optimal outdoor conditions. Utilizing LED lights, air circulation and wick-based water management, the greens are enabled to flourish.
With a companion app, users will be able to manage and monitor their plants. The app also offers tips and guidance for a successful harvest.
