Loungewear label Sleeper made its foray into swimwear this week with the launch of a new collection of one-piece swimsuits.

The contemporary brand, which was co-founded in 2014 by former fashion editors Kate Zubarieva and Asya Varetsa, has gained a cult following in recent years thanks to their “Athpleasure” styles.

Sleeper’s new swimwear collection is a continuation of the brand’s trendy, feminine “Athpleasure” designs and is made up of a playful colour palette of pink, orange, violet, and black. Their new one-piece bathing suits are available in just two styles to start.

The first features ruffled detailing on the shoulders and the second, a detachable ruffled tutu. Styles are meant to be versatile, just as suited to a day at the beach as they are to being paired with leggings and worn out and about.

Beyond the popsicle-hued colourways and fun designs, Sleeper’s new swim collection is also eco-friendly. All items are made out of recycled materials. More specifically, they are made of ECONYL, a 100% regenerated nylon yarn derived from nylon waste and recovered fishing nets.
