As part of its overall push towards sustainability and mission to “leave the world a better place for future generations,” Danish watch brand Skagen recently debuted Aaren Naturals, a new line of “Pro-Planet” watches.

The Aaren Naturals watch cases are stainless steel with roughly 50% recycled content, while the straps are made from a range of leather alternatives. Different plant-based materials used for the straps include mulberry, apple, cork, and cotton. Dials come in cork or 100% recycled paper.

To bring Aaren Naturals to life, the Denmark-based accessories company adopted practices that minimize water consumption during the tanning process, and have committed to continuing to use such operations in the future.

Skagen’s Aaren Naturals line up is available on their website, with all watches retailing for $125 USD.
