As part of their mission of keeping fashion in circulation, fashion resale and rental platform Rites has opened up a pop-up shop in East London where customers can buy preloved pieces.

Called “Rites Relove,” the pop-up shop offers a curated edit of vintage, sample and archive clothing, dresses, bags and accessories from brands such as Stella McCartney, Gucci, and Cecilie Bahnsen.

“We believe the most sustainable garment is one that already exists. So It’s your chance to shop samples from coveted brands as well as a curated selection of the best preloved clothing and accessories from our stylish community!” says Rites.

“We’re thrilled to be opening our first pop up in London and to be able to bring our community together for the first time,” adds Rites founder Meg O’Hara. “We’re growing a really special network of members and I’m looking forward to the pop-up nurturing that further as well as inviting a new audience into our world – and to resale; especially anyone who might be interested in monetising their own wardrobe but hasn’t taken the plunge yet!”

Rites is also sharing space in their pop-up shop with Sustainable Dept. Store, who is selling organic beauty, conscious fashion and ethical homewares brands.
