Created by designers Neulhae Cho and Jaebeom Jeong, Swingers is a seesaw-inspired chair that invites play and interaction with strangers.

Composed of two wooden chairs facing the opposite direction, the backs are connected together with an inverted arch. The metal rails add durability and help with weight distribution.

“Lets play seesaw,” said Jeong. “I wanted to make a chair for recovery of human relationship. As two people sit on each side of the chair, it is working out as playing a seesaw. Think about how great it is! There are two people sitting on each side, they have actually not seen each other before. The two people realize that the chair can rock and they interestingly begin to move so that they may recognize each other and face each other with smile.”
