Female-led Canadian accessories brand Pixie Mood has long been known for its 100% vegan leather handbags. Though co-founders Chloe Ho and Kelvin Ho have been dedicated to crafting eco-friendly accessories from the beginning, they are taking sustainability one step further with the launch of their new Fall/Winter 2021 collection.

Alongside the launch of their new collection, Pixie Mood also revealed their new brand identity and a redesigned website.

The accessories company says that its new brand identity is centred on sustainability and ethical production, with the overarching goal being to create a sustainable and cruelty-free world.

Pixie Mood’s Fall/Winter 2021 collection is called Eco-Mood and features a range of low-impact vegan leather pieces, many of which are made from recycled plastic water bottles (lining for all Pixie Mood bags has been made from recycled plastic bottles since 2020). While Pixie Mood has always led the way in terms of vegan leather accessories, this is their first foray into recycled vegan leather. The Eco Mood collection also introduces a new colourway, a burgundy red called Wine.

Further, as part of the Canadian label’s rebranding, they have announced their partnership with 1% for the Planet. Starting this year, Pixie Mood will donate 1% of its annual sales to important environmental causes.

Their partnership with 1% for the Planet builds on the brand’s climate-positive initiative with Terrapass, and together, showcases Pixie Mood’s commitment to minimizing their environmental impact and building a cleaner planet.
