Urgo Group has developed a device described as “the first non-invasive daytime brain training solution for a better sleep” called URGONight.
Unveiled at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Urgo Group has stated that a dramatic improvement in the quality and duration of restful slumber can be achieved by helping the user train their brain using their “proven neurofeedback method”.
Recording the brain activity of a user by utilizing electroencephalography, URGONight is able to interpret the activity and create custom training to “work towards better sleep”. With various exercises to be completed three times each week for a period of three months at 20 minutes per episode, the exercises include taking a break from work rigours, daydreaming, focusing on relaxed breathing, and more.
Working in conjunction with an app to notify users of the corresponding routine advice, users will also be able to track their progress and learn how to enhance sleep brainwaves.
Named as the CES 2019 Innovation Award Nominee in the Wearable Technology category, URGONight will soon become available on the market by the end of 2019 for roughly $600 USD.
