As a means of enabling “even more ways to add Alexa to your daily life—whether at home or on-the-go”, retail giant and tech company Amazon has introduced eight new Echo devices.

“We love hearing feedback from customers about how they use Alexa throughout their day—whether that’s listening to music, dropping in on a loved one, trying out a new recipe, or playing a game with the family,” said Tom Taylor, Senior Vice President, Amazon Alexa. “We hope these new Echo devices will give customers even more ways to access Alexa—whether that’s through the best-sounding Echo device yet.”

For those unaware, Alexa is Amazon’s voice-controlled, artificially intelligent assistant.

The new devices include all-new Echo, Echo Flex, Echo Dot, Echo Show 8, Echo Studio, Echo Buds, Echo Frames and Echo Loop.

Out of the new Echo collection, the most notable are Echo Frames and Echo Loop.

Both Echo Frames and Echo Loop are part of The Day 1 Editions program where innovations are accelerated and made available.

Priced at $179.99, the Echo Frames with Alexa feature four beamforming micro speakers.

Designed to look, feel and wear like any other pair of glasses, users are capable of making calls, setting reminders, writing notes and even control compatible smart home devices.

Prescription lenses can also be fitted.

Noted as being Amazon’s very first Alexa-enabled smart ring, the Echo Loop with two microphones, a speaker and piezo haptic enables users to “ask for the right amount to tip at dinner, confirm you locked the front door, or announce you’re on your way home”.

Amazon states that the Echo Loop can last a full day on a single charge and be recharged completely in 90 minutes.

Echo Loop is priced at $129.99.
