Professional tennis player Naomi Osaka‘s skincare brand KINLÒ has recently expanded its offerings to include Coconut Body Oil and Hydrating Facial Oil.
KINLÒ, which is named after both the Japanese and Haitian words for “gold,” was founded based on Osaka’s experience playing tennis on sun-baked courts and her assumption that having melanin-rich skin would make her immune to sun damage.
Aiming to dispel myths and educate people about the damage that sunlight can have on melanated skin, KINLÒ was born.
“The perfect way to end the day—especially after spending it in the sun—is to restore moisture to your skin,” Osaka tells BAZAAR.com. “I love these two new products because they provide head-to-toe moisture, and are made from all-natural ingredients. Hydration is key for all skin types year round, but it’s especially important for melanated skin during the winter months and changing of seasons.”
All of KINLÒ’s products are made with cruelty-free and sustainably-sourced ingredients such as squalane, jojoba, safflower oil, coconut oil, green tea, hemp seed, and aloe vera.
