After stretching its wings to include eyewear and a menswear line, budding sustainable label Nanushka returns with an all-new seasonal collection filled with eco-friendly knitwear, along with regenerated and vegan leather.
The new Pre-Fall 2021 offering, dubbed “Teleport,” comprises designer Sandra Sandor’s signature design aesthetics, with each piece being inspired by surrealist art and nature. Form-fitting and organic silhouettes can be seen throughout, along with soft tailoring and hand-crafted details.
The latest offering of everyday essentials from the Budapest-based label effortlessly balances between soft femininity and confident forms, which is highlighted on the cozy head-to-toe pink knitwear set, faux leather trousers, fitted blouses, and body-hugging skirts, along with perfectly tailored suit jackets. A vegan leather boiler suit paired with a macramé belt is also on offer, along with a range of outwear pieces.
On the accessories front, impressive sunglasses designed with ball weighted chains and minimalist handbags help elevate the range.
In terms of the colour palette, Nanuskha’s Pre-Fall 2021 spotlights earthly tones of browns, khakis, white, beige, and black, while contrasting hues of baby pink and lush floral and leopard prints have also been introduced into the mix.
Remaining true to its sustainability values, each item in Nanushka’s seasonal range has been crafted using materials such as 100% recycled mesh jersey, organic cotton, regenerated leather, and vegan leather (made of polyester and polyurethane). The label keeps its carbon footprint low by situating its production sites close to its Budapest headquarters, in addition to maintaining its commitment to a circular economy by recycling and upcycling its fabrics.
Nanushka’s Pre-Fall 2021 collection is set to release later this year.
