Vegan food company Monty’s is making its direct-to-consumer debut this week with the launch of an all-new e-commerce website.

Founded by certified health coach and chef Lauren Montgomery, Monty’s has been offering plant-based butter and cream cheeses since its inception in 2018.

Now, their entire range of vegan dairy products is officially available via their website for customers in the United States.

Monty’s sets itself apart from competitors in the crowded vegan dairy niche by creating products that are close to nature, a rarity in a sea of highly processed, lab-made items.

Instead, Monty’s products are primarily made from a tasty mix of sweet cashew cream, coconut oil, sea salt, and almond oil. For example, to bring their line of cream cheeses to life (the line includes three flavours: Scallion Cream Cheese, Original Cream Cheese, and Everything Cream Cheese), they use cashews and live active cultures that undergo a fermentation process to produce a deliciously tangy formula.

Finally, Monty’s doesn’t skimp on sustainable packaging. Unlike the virgin plastic packaging that comprises most of the dairy aisle, all Monty’s offerings come in reusable and recyclable glass jars.

Prior to the launch of their e-commerce site, Monty’s products were available exclusively in select grocers across the United States, such as at Bristol Farms and Erewhon in Los Angeles. But now, anyone anywhere in the U.S. can have Monty’s delicious Scallion Cream Cheese or Plant-Based Butter shipped directly to their door.
