Hyperloop Italia has tapped the expertise of Zaha Hadid Architects to help design what is described as a “new frontier of mobility.”
In short, Hyperloop is a new innovative form of transportation pioneered by Elon Musk that employs passive magnetic levitation technology to propel passenger and cargo capsules through low-pressure tubes. In doing so, incredibly high-speed, safe, sustainable and economical travel is achieved.
According to Zaha Hadid Architects, Hyperloop only requires a fraction of energy that conventional modes of public transport use. On top of being powered by renewable energy such as solar, Hyperloop is also capable of producing more energy than it consumes thanks to its regenerative braking systems.
In addition, recycled and environmentally-friendly materials will be used to construct Hyperloop infrastructure.
