As part of its highly-lauded Genius collection, Italian luxury fashion brand Moncler has once again called upon famed British fashion designer JW Anderson and his eponymous label for an eco-friendly Spring/Summer 2021 collection dubbed “A Nomadic Journey”.

To mark their second collaborative range, the duo heavily pulls influences from their love of nature. In terms of silhouettes, the unisex range comprises a diverse selection of meticulously fashioned garments all crafted with functionality in mind including sailing-inspired parkas, quilted long coats, padded vests, colour-blocked hoodies, casual T-shirts, dresses, Bermuda shorts, and cargo pants.

A lineup of bold utilitarian accessories and footwear is also included such as Chelsea boots, tote bags, and crossbody phone cases. The archival looks are split between a vibrant colour palette of yellows, reds, blues, and greens and more neutral tones of browns, khakis, white, grey, and black.

Elevating the looks are oversized pockets, rope drawstrings inspired by fishing, exposed stitching, and large zippers. Spotlighted throughout is a special co-branding insignia the blends JW Anderson’s anchor motif with Moncler’s ubiquitous logo.

At the helm of the 1 Moncler JW Anderson SS21 “A Nomadic Voyage” collection is a focus on sustainability. All items are partially made from innovative and responsible materials such as Econyl, a regenerated form of nylon derived from the ocean and land-based waste.
