Just in time for this year’s Valentine’s Day, clean beauty brand Milk Makeup has released a new mascara that features a 93% natural formula.
Called the RISE, the cruelty-free mascara is made using Milk Makeup’s in-house Vegan Lash-Wrap Technology composed of sunflower seed wax, carnauba wax, tree berry wax, and candelilla wax. Other ingredients include monoi oil and marigold extract for strength and conditioning, bamboo fibre powders for volume, and mineral pigments for added colour.
“A vegan mascara that lifts, lengthens, curls, and volumizes. We like to think of it as the perfect white sneakers of mascara,” reads Milk Makeup’s Instagram. “Easy, dependable, and something you’ll wanna wear every single day.”
According to Milk Makeup, all lash types are suitable for the RISE. The makeup brand also claims that 96% of people in their clinical trials said that the mascara did not weigh lashes down even after 12 hours.
