International fashion retailer Mango has officially expanded its plus-size offerings with the integration of the Violeta by Mango range.
Violeta by Mango was previously the brand’s separate plus-size line, but it has now been absorbed into the existing womenswear range.
The reason behind the integration comes down to Mango’s commitment to inclusivity. The integration will mean that 500 items from the Violeta by Mango line will be added to the womenswear section, extending the sizing to a size 54 or 4XL.
Beyond this, the Spanish retailer has also decided to extend the size range of their other collections, by adding sizes 32 (XXS) and 46 (XXL) to almost every single garment in their womenswear collection.
Further, Mango stated that they plan to make the pieces in the Violeta by Mango range more affordable, made possible by the larger purchasing volumes that will be required now that they’re part of the general collection.
Plus, the new integrated collection will feature Mango designs as the general womenswear design team has integrated the Violeta by Mango pattern makers.
Consumers can shop the newly-integrated Violeta by Mango looks and the newly-added inclusive sizes on Mango’s website and in-store.
