Mirume

Located at the intersection of a quaint neighbourhood lined with traditional Japanese houses lies Mirume, a green tea cafe that recently opened its doors.

Founded by Soshin Matsumoto, Mirume offers customers a unique zero-waste service called Morning Bottle. For only 300 yen (roughly $2 USD), you can enjoy a cold-brewed bottle of green tea that can be refilled with water up to 3 times until the flavour fades. Once finished, the bottle is returned where it will be washed and reused.

If you have time to spare, settle down and relax with a hand-poured cup of green tea at the counter. Mirume also sells conventional green tea bags and Japanese sweets such as raw yokan.
