Madelyn Cline, the breakout star of the hit Netflix series “Outer Banks,” has been announced as the face of Stella McCartney‘s Summer 2023 campaign. The 24-year-old actress will be joining McCartney’s long list of celebrity ambassadors, which includes the likes of Idris Elba, Lourdes Leon, and Maisie Williams.

The campaign was shot at The Gentle Barn, where over 170 rescued animals live and features Cline modelling the latest Stella McCartney summer collection. The collection is said to be inspired by the brand’s commitment to sustainable and ethical fashion, with a focus on organic and recycled materials.

“There’s truly nothing like developing a bond with an animal,” says Cline. “This collection is special to me for that very reason and when Stella told me we were shooting with animals at The Gentle Barn, I was elated. We spent the day loving on animals, feeding them, and getting to know them. We are all connected and this collection celebrates a harmonious relationship between fashion, animals and our Earth.”

Cline’s star has been on the rise since her breakout role in “Outer Banks,” which premiered on Netflix in 2020. The series, which follows a group of teenagers on a treasure hunt in the Outer Banks of North Carolina, quickly became a hit and was renewed for a second season.

In addition to her acting career, Cline has also been making waves in the fashion industry. She has been featured in campaigns for major brands such as Calvin Klein and is known for her laid-back, bohemian style.
